Pole Fitness - Intro to Pole Dancing
A fun alternative to going to the gym!
This class is mandatory for all first time pole dancers. In this class we will focus on the basics of pole dancing such as climbing up and down, flexibility, basic spins, and dance moves. Pole fitness is both an aerobic and anaerobic workout. It uses your own body weight as resistance which helps prevent health problems, builds and maintains muscle mass, boosts metabolism, and increases bone strength and density.
You get an aerobic workout by consistently and rhythmically using large muscles which aids in losing weight and keeping it off. It strengthens your heart, keeps arteries clear, and boosts mood by reducing depression and promoting relaxation. Each class begins with a warm up and ends with a cool down, which emphasize flexibility training. No experience necessary.
