Beginner Belly Dance

Connect with your divine feminine energy and learn the ancient art of Belly Dance. This beginner class is infused with elements of yoga and energy work and is suitable for all ages and most fitness levels.
This class will include warm up, muscle toning, technique training, drills, and moderate cardio. You will learn a piece of choreography each week that we will be adding to each class to create a dance.
We end each class with a cool down and group circle. Join us for this fun and refreshing fitness and dance class and Awaken your inner Goddess!
Intermediate Belly Dance

Intermediate classes include more challenging muscle and isolation strengthening, layering of hips, chest and arm movements, and more complex traveling patterns, spins and turns to explore.
Some sessions are prop-focused: veil, zills, skirt, or stick. Students learn about Belly dance and culture as well as explore the musicality of traditional Middle Eastern dance music.
A new intermediate-level choreography is taught in most 10-week series.
